Free Health Camp
On 25th December 2025, Makokha Medical Centre, in partnership with Quintos Health Foundation, successfully hosted a Free Health Camp during the Maliki Friends Monthly Meeting. The outreach focused on hypertension and diabetes follow-up, screening, and patient education, aiming to promote early detection and proper disease management within the community. Participants received blood pressure and blood sugar checks, counseling on lifestyle modification, medication adherence guidance, and individualized medical advice. In addition, the camp provided education and sensitization sessions on prostate cancer, cervical cancer, and breast cancer, emphasizing the importance of regular screening, early warning signs, and preventive care. Healthcare professionals engaged attendees through interactive health talks and one-on-one consultations to increase awareness and encourage proactive health-seeking behavior. The initiative demonstrated a strong commitment to community wellness, preventive healthcare, and accessible medical support during the festive season.
